Welcome to episode 30 of the Cosmic Celebrity Podcast here at athenalucene.com. On this episode, I’ll be sharing with you the reasons why your solitude is sacred and the steps that you can take to discover why it is and how to really get more fulfillment out of your solitude.
And you’ll also receive intuitive downloads that will naturally realign you to your unique energy imprint, your signature imprint, and to your soul essence. So, the more you integrate your soul essence and live your truth in an integrated way, I call that embodying your cosmic celebrity.
So, what I mean by your solitude… A lot of times persons are very afraid to be alone with themselves. Persons believe that in order to have the most optimal and most happiest and fulfilling life, they need to be around other people constantly… And this is toxic.
There’s Nothing Wrong With Being Alone
It’s toxic to be around persons constantly and not spend the time with yourself, especially because as you nurture your spiritual gifts, as you nurture who you are and embrace who you are, you are required … There’s a requirement in the development process of taking time to be alone, taking time to be with yourself, taking time to continually self-explore and discover why it is that you may have certain beliefs and what those beliefs are doing for you.
Are they serving you or are they not serving you?
Your solitude is also sacred because that’s when you connect with your inner spirit the easiest – your inner spirit and The Creator or source energy of all creation, you know, whatever word you feel comfortable using to explain that divine essence, that’s when you are most able to hear the gentle whispers of your heart. That’s when you’re most able to get clear on your purpose in your life and whether or not you are actually living your truth and standing in the truth of your purpose.
A lot of people are afraid to be alone because they feel as if by being alone there’s something wrong with that – like they’re going to discover something about themselves that’s so scary to deal with or they’re going to feel like there’s just something so horrible about maybe a past experience they’ve made or maybe they feel that their life is not as successful as they always wanted it to be.
And a lot of times, subconsciously people distract themselves from their own solitude because they don’t have to think. They don’t have to recognize … they don’t have to come to terms with their life for what it is. They don’t have to reflect.
And so, I’m here to remind you that it’s essential… It’s vital and essential that you take time for yourself regularly just to be alone with yourself. It could be while you’re home alone cleaning, cooking, taking walks in nature… Whatever it is, just create that space just for you to just be with you just so that you can hear the intuitive guidance of your spirit so that you can feel the presence and the oneness with you and your spirit.
So, the first step I would say is most definitely shift in the thinking that your solitude is not sacred, right? Shift in the thinking that your solitude … there’s something wrong or bad or lonely about being in your solitude, right?
Because you can be alone but not lonely. When you are alone and you’re in the sacred space of your solidity, you are basically nourishing your soul. It’s like self-nourishment is self-honoring.
So, the first step in recognizing and shifting your thinking towards your solidity and how to recognize how sacred it is, is to shift the belief that there’s something wrong about being alone and alone with your spirit on a regular basis. Alone, whether it’s in meditation, whether it’s in prayer, whether it’s just being with yourself and just talking to The Creator, connecting through your soul essence. Really reflect on your life. So that’s the first step. You know, don’t make it wrong.
Create a Ritual
The next step is to create a ritual. Now I absolutely personally love, while I’m cleaning my home, just to have a conversation with myself, like an internal conversation with myself. It could be talking about … just reflecting in all the blessings and the abundance that I’ve manifested in my life; times when I’ve overcame challenges… Or it could also be thinking about and preparing energetically for the upcoming challenges or tasks at hand in that upcoming week.
My favorite day to really take time is Sunday; although I take time every day, but on Sundays I like to particularly focus on the upcoming week and definitely the first, the beginning of every month I like to take time specifically for that month.
I take time the last day of the month to just really reflect on the month and the blessings and the manifestations and really give thanks and lovingly release the month that is now in the past.
And really by the first just prepare for the month ahead, kind of setting the tone energetically for prosperity, for appreciation and for love. And for all of the positive vibrations of The Creator – you know all the vibrations of consciousness, higher consciousness, that is within all of creation.
So, the step two is to definitely create specific time and allow your intuition to guide you with this. Allow your soul connection, allow your inner spirit, whatever you feel feels right for you. It could be to sit and meditate in a favorite space in your home. It could be to go on the beach, take walks on the beach. I personally have an affinity for sunrises and sunsets.
So the second step is simply just to create a ritual. Do it a time and space when you take time for your solidity and various activities that you’re going to do within that space, whether it’s going to be meditating, whether it’s going to be sit quietly, whether it’s going to just do nothing other than relax. Right?
And I would say that do this regularly. For you, maybe once a week. It could be each day, it could be once a month. You get to set the tone for what your solidity and the sacred space what it looks like, you know, the ritual of it.
Doing Inner Work to Forgive
And I would say now in the third step in recognizing your solitude and to really acknowledging how sacred it is, is to really do inner work to forgive. Do inner work to forgive yourself, do inner work to forgive others, and really send energetic vibrations to persons.
You can say through your mind … in your mind’s eye, bless everyone with love that’s in your life. Bless everyone with love; proclaim that divine love and divine light saturates everybody’s minds and hearts.
We’re all on a journey, a spiritual journey. And I think that it’s so easy to get caught up with the everyday hustle and bustle and everyday thread mill of life that it’s easy to lose sight of the nonphysical and how important it is to incorporate it and integrate it with the physical life, right?
Because you’re seeing life and physical particles with your physical eyes. And so, it’s easy and the day to day survival mode and the hustle and bustle and the getting to work or taking care of your kids or taking care of elderly parents… you know, whatever it is that your version of hustle and bustle is. As you’re doing that, it’s easy to lose sight of the nonphysical because it’s nonphysical, right?
You really have to exercise that muscle, really that first eye, so that you can see the nonphysical simultaneously and in an integrated way with the physical. And that’s true spiritual growth. And the stronger you get at doing that, the more intuitive you will become, the more balanced you will become in shifting and being able to see both realms – the physical and nonphysical simultaneously.
So, I say number three is to be aware of your mental energy that you are projecting to others, you know, other persons in your life. And really set the tone for forgiveness; forgiveness for yourself, forgiveness for others. And do … Within your sacred space the time that you choose to be in your solitude, take time to do some forgiveness work.
Allow yourself … Be willing to recognize what roles each person plays in your life or have played in your life. And the more you become clear to that, you can say like, “Oh, you know, this individual really imprinted on my soul.”
You know, you could have been a child of a single parent and maybe there was that one coach or that teacher that really took an interest in you and really imprinted on your soul in a positive way when you were younger, and you didn’t even realize it until this was revealed to you in the time that you have created for you to take time for yourself in your solitude. And now you start to tap into the sacredness of the solitude now, because you start realizing all kinds of awesome things about your life, right?
You start connecting the dots. You start to see the synchronicities. You start to see, you know, familiar patterns. You start to be awakened to new realizations about your life, your destiny, your purpose. And the more you do this, you more you recognize exactly why the solitude is so sacred…
Because you start really getting intimate with you. You start recognizing all the things… so many… just awesome things, unique things about you in your life and even your parent’s life patterns, and you start recognizing that in yourself. And then you start making those decisions to dissolve the things, the patterns that no longer serve you, that comes through the awareness from just your solitude.
And you can definitely pick up on things and become aware of things and have aha moments and epiphanies outside of the time that you’ve created for your solitude. But nothing, nowhere near compared than to the time when you actually take to be with yourself. It’s like you get an avalanche of information, you know, and the spirit within you loves it.
Become More Present and Recognize Divine Right Action
So, this leads right into step four. Step four is your personal empowerment that you are able to recognize clear action, clear and deliberate action… governed right action… divine, governed right action that comes to your realization for your personal empowerment.
From the space that you’ve taken and created for yourself continually, you are then guided with right action of what it is you need to be doing. Who needs to no longer be in your life or have access to you? Who can you welcome into your life that is going to be positive for you, that’s going to bring you to that next level, right? What changes can you make?
Have you been wanting to divorce someone for a long time or break up with that girlfriend or boyfriend for a long time?
Have you been wanting to start setting healthy boundaries with your adult children? Right?
Have you been wanting to mend, make … like restore a relationship that you feel that maybe you didn’t handle yourself so maturely and maybe it ended to the … it led to you and that person no longer speaking, right?
So, this is an opportunity for your personal empowerment. And it’s an opportunity for you to become more present in your life. And through that, that’s another reason – the fourth reason why your solitude is so sacred.
Honor Your Soul
Now, the fifth reason why your solitude is so sacred, most importantly, is because you are now honoring your soul in a very special way. You are celebrating your soul. You are honoring your soul. You are revering your soul. You’re giving your soul and The Creator respectful space in your life.
Just to just have that connection to blossom your inner spirit, to really become more intuitively guided in your life, to become more self-actualized, to become more fulfilled in your purpose, your divine purpose. And to know that all is well. And how you can be guided to contribute in a bigger way and allow your life to be a fuller expression, to be the biggest grandest version possible. And this is where you’re going to get that guidance.
So remember, your solitude is sacred. And remember that there’s steps to developing a regular ritual for yourself where you create solid space, and then that’s going to include you doing certain things so that you can grow intuitively so you can become more intuitively connected with your life; so that you can become more integrated with your soul essence,; so that you can live a life that’s truly in integrity and congruent with your life force, right? With the purpose, the originally intended purpose of your life force.
So just wanted to do this quick podcast to just let you know that it’s okay to be alone. It’s okay, especially at times after the end of a relationship, especially times when you need to make serious decisions for your life, especially when it seems like, you know, your life is at a serious crossroads and you’re needing to make decisions for your life. And even just to foster habit of happiness, organic happiness, and just a sense of clarity, right? And vision for your life.
So, I’m challenging you to rethink what you think about your solitude, and I’m challenging you to dissolve the idea and the notion that there’s something wrong about your solitude. And I’m furthermore challenging you to dismiss, you know, dismiss and dissolve the fear of being alone with yourself and creating that alone time just for you and to really quiet the outer chatter of your life. Just really get your life in a sacred flow, you know, a sacred rhythm where silence and solitude becomes a greater and greater, more soul nourishing spiritual practice for you.
